Whether you’re leading your firm or building your business, B4CG connects you to the systems, mentors, and community that help you grow — from the ground up.

  • Built for the Construction Industry

What Makes Us Different

Most bookkeeping firms focus on the numbers — we focus on the people behind them.
At Bookkeeping 4 Contractors Group (B4CG), we were built specifically for the construction industry — where job costing, cash flow, and project tracking demand more than standard bookkeeping. They require insight, mentorship, and a deep understanding of how trades-based businesses truly operate.

Every Accounting Professional in our network is vetted, trained, and supported through the Contractor Growth Framework™, ensuring that you’re not just getting a bookkeeper — you’re gaining a strategic partner who understands your business from the ground up.

The Contractor Growth Framework™ is B4CG’s all-in-one system for professional and business growth.

It equips Accounting Professionals with mentorship, training, and the right technology to serve the construction industry effectively — while giving Contractors direct access to vetted professionals and exclusive educational resources designed to help them grow profitably.

It’s not just a program; it’s a blueprint for lasting success on both sides of the industry.

Every Accounting Professional in our network goes through a comprehensive vetting process to ensure they meet the highest standards of skill, integrity, and construction expertise.

We verify credentials, assess real-world knowledge of construction-specific accounting (including job costing and project management), and provide ongoing mentorship to keep every member current and confident.

This means that when you work with a B4CG Accounting Professional, you’re partnering with someone who doesn’t just manage your books — they understand your business, your trade, and your goals.

  • Meet the Mentor Behind the Framework

Meet Shanna Quinn

Founder of Bookkeeping 4 Contractors Group (B4CG)

Strong foundations build lasting success.

Shanna Quinn’s career didn’t begin in accounting — it began with curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to build from scratch.

In 2000, while studying massage therapy, Shanna took a receptionist job at an electrical and home security company. When the office manager quit just four months later, she stepped in to fill the role, teaching herself QuickBooks and enrolling in accounting courses at her local community college. It was there she found her calling: helping businesses thrive through structure, systems, and financial understanding.

Over the next decade, Shanna worked in a variety of accounting roles, supporting both small firms and large institutions — including supporting Middle Market clients at a major bank. Nearly all of her experience centered around the construction trades, where she developed a deep respect for the craftsmanship and grit that define the industry.

After welcoming her son, Garrett, in 2012, Shanna returned to the corporate world and worked with a small local CPA Fim.  During her time there, Shanna realized she was giving too much of herself to her career, and not enough time to her new family.

After 2 years at the firm, she left the corporate world to create something more flexible and fulfilling.

In 2015, she launched East Orlando Bookkeeping, which quickly evolved into Bookkeeping 4 Contractors (B4C) — a full-service firm built to serve construction businesses.

Through networking and mentorship, Shanna grew her firm and became a Certified Profit First Professional, leading a team that now supports over 40 clients nationwide. In mid-2025, after helping a major homebuilder client transition in-house, she shifted her focus toward mentorship and community-building — founding Bookkeeping 4 Contractors Group (B4CG) to train, connect, and elevate both sides of the industry:

  • Accounting Professionals, who want to specialize in construction bookkeeping and scale with confidence.

  • Small Business Owners, who want to understand their numbers, improve job costing, and grow profitably.

Through the Contractor Growth Framework™, Shanna now leads a growing network where education, accountability, and connection come together to strengthen the trades — one business at a time.

“Every accomplishment starts with a decision to try — and B4CG was built to help you take that first step with confidence.”
— Shanna Quinn, Founder, B4CG

By the Numbers: Why B4CG Exists

Fewer Accountants Are Entering the Field

U.S. accounting degree completions have dropped nearly 8% over the last decade.
As fewer students pursue accounting degrees — down 7.8% in 2022 alone — the industry faces a shrinking pipeline of qualified professionals.
This means it’s never been more important to mentor, train, and retain experienced accounting talent who truly understand construction.

B4CG Response: We’re building a network of skilled accounting professionals who are equipped — and inspired — to serve the trades.

Independent Accounting Professionals Are on the Rise

Over 10% of the U.S. workforce — nearly 9.8 million people — now work for themselves.
Many of these professionals are accountants and bookkeepers seeking independence and flexibility through specialized service niches.

B4CG Response: We give independent accounting professionals the framework, mentorship, and construction-specific training to thrive — not just survive — in self-employment.

Half of Small Businesses Fail Within Five Years

20% fail in year one • 50% fail within five • 65% fail within ten.
The leading cause? Poor financial management and lack of sound advice.

B4CG Response: We help small business owners in the construction trades gain the financial clarity and systems they need to break that cycle — and build profit that lasts.
